My task in [Loving-Kindness Training](http://www.madregrande.org/) is to continuously radiate loving-kindness.

I attend a weekly webcast given by [David Spero](http://friendsofdavidspero.org/), whose approach includes Kundalini, Advaita Vedanta, the Divine Mother, etc.

During this week's session, we were free to meditate as we wished. So I chose to radiate loving-kindness, of course. But after 5 minutes of this, I realized that I was forcing things and being physical about the L-K process, so I dropped everything other than my desire to be completely happy. At that point, David's non-verbal transmission took over and I experienced several powerful electric shocks up the body. It grew higher and higher and I almost began to see colors when our meditation period ended.

The experience affected me into the next morning, so much so that I did not want to awaken and do my morning Tibetan Rites of Rejuvenation and Laughter Play. But I went ahead and did them and then continued my day with L-K.

It's amazing what David Spero can do right over a live webcast as soon as I decide to do nothing whatsoever.. Although I'm interested in [Sant Mat](http://santmat.livingcosmos.org/), you have to ask why these masters require your physical presence for initiation. Same with my L-K practice.

Most people never realize that their stomachs are in constant activity. Even my days mono-dieting on orange juice did not truly let the stomach go to sleep

It's really hard to only drink water:

- throat sensations. teeth sensations. old food/spices are stimulating my tongue and the reflex response is: "eat something to cover it up"... my throat feels parched but I've been drinking alkaline water all day. my teeth are fuzzy though I brushed them this morning.

- now, at 5pm, I have all sorts of tastes in my mouth although all I have had is water.

- 9pm, been noticing cravings for food for the past few hours. But it's time to meditate with David Spero (http://friendsofdavidspero.org/) so I think I can make it until it is tomorrow. Excellent test of mind over body. Remind me not to repeat it anytime soon.

# Seli Flows

In the dreamspell calendar there are 13 moons, each with a perfect 28 days (and an additional Day Out of Time). The intentionally chaotic Gregorian calendar fluctuates madly. If they wanted to create months of 30, 31 and 28 days, why not put all the 30-day months together, separate with the 28-day month and round out the year with the 31-day months?

But enough of their chaos, let's proceed with our rhythmic biological markers in time.

We are now at the 2nd day in the week - Seli. And the theme of Seli is "flow".

What better way for Seli to flow than to consume liquids all day? I could think of some answers: we could do tai chi, we could go to the ocean. But my focus is locking biological markers in my body to tell it what time it is. So no external calendar can deceive my body about its true position in space/time. It's such a great feeling to know exactly what I am consuming.

Two days ago (on the 7th day of last week), I put 1 c. wheat berry seed in 3 c. water. After two days of fermenting, I have the most nutritious liquid beverage on the planet - Rejuvelac. What a way to kick off a day of flow!

I've bought my apple juice and coconut juice. And I will probably be getting free carrot juice at lunch since I'm being taken out by a job recruiter.

I once saw a comedian who said: "if you're going to kill yourself make sure not to jump off a very high building"

Then he went through this routine of a person jumping off a building and screaming at the top of his lungs...

and then the person runs out of breath... but he's still falling and falling. And now he's having second thoughts... and he's still falling. Then he starts looking back up and wishing he hadnt jumped... and he's still falling.

So the moral of the story was: choose a short building to make a clean break.

Now that I've hit the send button on that resignation email, I'm sitting here thinking: "I dont care about computers. I just need a job for 1 more year until I'm good enough at guitar. Then I can earn a living playing gigs. If I move I lose my guitar teacher. I just need to show up at work and dont be so serious about doing a good job. Everyone thinks I'm doing fine. It's just my internal sense of pride that's hurt."

Normally, I have a mechanism where all email is only sent out after 15-30 mins instead of immediately.

Man, I wish I had that in place on this email system... hahah.

But I have loving-kindness on my side to see me through this potentially painful divorce.
