But anyway, in scientology we would say that the Thetan has degenerated from pan-determinism of a game to other-determinism and self-determinism. And yes, the goal is the same: to take full responsibility for everything that you experience and return to pan-determining the game.

There are so many ultimate terms (love, wisdom, power, bliss, ecstasy, awareness ,enlightenment, moksha, satori, ascension, +400 on the tone scale). You mention two: balance and agape love. By the way, agape love and buddhist metta (loving-kindness) are the same thing. From metta, the 3 higher mind states are compassion, sympathetic joy and equanimity, which I think is similar to the balance you mention.

I'm a bit sick of following gurus - you never know when they are going to flip and destroy your bond with them. That being said, ECKANKAR is starting to kick some serious ass.

Finally seeing both sides implies living in duality? What is non-dual realization really like? Connectedness? Unity? Void nothingness?

Why am I thinking so much when spiritual progress starts with stopping thought and/or seeing it as impermanent.

Monads of experience are  the soul playing opposite roles to find balance (the middle road)  for example:teacher..then switching to sudent or vice versa...There are lots of other ones
like playing the neat one..then the sloppy one..victim then victimizer...parent..then child..etc etc..After the soul has experienced the major Monads...he can see things from both sides..and can empathize with people and reach agape love.
 If the person or Guru doesn't get this
he may be judging a lot...and really think his judgement or system is the only correct one..not seeing the broader picture.

I think all these opposite paths are doing a Monad of Opposites..and should eventially find the balance ...and you might benefit from getting a Michael Reading of the Leaders of these Groups to know why they have the perceptions they do...and not get caught up in their stuff unless you are going through the same monad.
The balance I think is to get your true spirit guides, archangels etc involved in your long term destiny plan ...also perhaps find some of the people in your entity group....and realize that they are all pieces of the puzzle of your "Godhood"  and in the end like
Barbara Striesand says...Pieces..Pieces who need Pieces..Are the luckiest pieces in the world!!!

Terrence wonders about consequential thinking: using a non-existent past to "predict" (actually create via belief) the future based on the present.

It seems that the events flowed linearly in time. How can I invalidate linear thinking? I suppose I need to quite trying to use logic to defeat logic/linear thought/consequential thinking.

Those terms imply something that is not changing. Then the mind tries to find that fixed non-changing thing and gets frustrated.

The chief limitation of a being is memories that are replayed as if they are really repeating when nothing repeats and everything is organically transforming and creating ever new joy.

Now of course, the infinite source of everything is NO THING. But no thing cannot have 'the' in front of it, because 'the' is used to refer to things and all things are limited, both in duration and size.

Begone 'the' and all attempts to describe the infinite... ooops! nuff said

WHy use a limited apparatus to perceive the infinite? Instead focus the limited apparatus on the ever-changing limited creations and convince the mind that attempts to formulate regularity are self-defeating!

The "zodiac-boys", I don’t even want to start with, who always happily bring up planetary-constellations at the moment of birth, to try to excuse their almost impossible style of addressing one in such an aggressive tone, that one could only get the feeling one is the original sin personified. If one then points this out to the person once in a while, one gets a “well, you know I don’t do this with any bad intention”. You know I am a scorpion and they always have their scissors out very fast. Aha! Now it is clear of course why no responsibility for their behaviour can be granted there. Scorpion! One however, should have known that beforehand as one immediately would have understood and could have accepted any verbal brutality on the part of that person!
