• aim of Yoga is liberation from cycle of birth and death. no patanjali sutra mentions anything about disease.
• samadhi paad - chanting names of God only way to powers and moksha

• the guru shows the way - and the way is chanting the divine mantra in Kali Yuga
• FIRST: chant the mantra round-the-clock. After a few days of continuous chanting, the energy within you will begin chanting the mantra on its own

The initiation mantra is a sanjivani mantra empowered by Krishna (a complete avatar). To succeed in this path: (1) continuously chant the mantra (2) meditation. The body is in the universe and vice versa. There fore both positive and negative are within body. Moving on to disease. Disease occurs when the negative forces overtake the positive. Gives accounts of cures of leukemia, hepatits, cancer, AIDS, etc.

• develop a friendship with the internal doctor by constant chanting of the mantra
• the chanting will awaken the kundalini [typist note: chanting thus has 2 effects - ajapa jap and awaken k]
• awakened k leads to 3 bandhs but you dont have to worry about it. just think of Guru Siyag at the 3rd eye & chant the mantra... nothing else needed!

• bandhs - uddiyan, jalandhar, and some breathing finally. prayanam is the last step not the first
• samadhi, a non-dualistic state, is achieved when K rises above the 3rd eye. Experiencing Samadhi unlocks the secret of death. Guru Siyag belongs to the Nath tradition of gurus. Moksha can be attained via Krishna external worship or mantra chanting. Do not alter the mantra in any way (e.g. add "Om" or "Namaha" to it).
• yoga frees the practitioner from physical, mental and spiritual disease. the sanjivani mantra cures everything, but you must accept Guru Siyag as your guru. The guru's voice has that effect
• Guru Siyag attained krishna siddhi in 1984. gayatri siddhi earlier. Sri Aurobindo said liberation for mankind can occur when a single individual attains both in a lifetime.

= Introduction

"Reality in 40 Verses" is a concise text written by Ramana Maharishi
which summarizes the Advaita Vedanta perspective on reality. This text
is also called "Ulladu Narpadu".

The 40 verses, plus 2 introductory verses have been categorized into
14 themes to allow for regular study within the context of the
http://www.LawOfTime.org[Dreamspell Calendar]

Because a moon has 28 days, each theme can be studied twice within a
moon. Alternatively, one might compress the 14 themes into 13 and
study one theme per moon for an entire 13-moon year.

However, because there are only 40 verses and each theme has a maximum
of 6 verses, daily study of a theme for a single moon might be
preferred.

= Advaita Vedanta

To the thinking individual, Advaita Vedanta is quite unusual. It
places emphasis on passive awareness as the highest state of spiritual
achievement.

As a student of John C. Lilly, the inventor of the floatation tank, I
see myself as an observer-operator-agent: while I can be passively
aware, why must my powers of operation and agency atrophy in the name
of this philosophy?

That said, rigorous study of these verses will destroy the mind and
ego rapidly, leaving all mental philosophy in tatters.

Another way to (negatively?) criticise Advaita Vedanta comes from the
Rosicrucian Cosmology of Max Heindel: http://www.rosicrucian.com

Heindel made it clear that most
beings were operating with only dense, desire and mental bodies. The
dictate of Advaita to kill conceptual thought is certainly senior to
being enslaved to the dense and desire bodies, but, assuming that the
4 worlds of spirit exist above the mind, then Advaita has a ways to go
for true realisation.

Not only that, but the Rosicrucian teachings make it clear that man is
an Ego and is expected to create his own universes, not sit around
like a blissed-out passively aware sponge!

That being said, the ejaculatory ecstasy one gets from slaying the ego
can certainly speak for itself.

Verse 2/40:

On three entities -- the individual, God and the world -- every creed is based. The saying "the One becomes the
three" as well as "always the three are three", are said only while the ego lasts. To lose the "I" and abide in the Self  is the Supreme State.
