Thanks for Chris Ball, I learned about Charles Matthews book “Shape Up” – it is an excellent text and from this position you can see how I use the table shape to run from my opponent:

This guy was killing me in the opening… he was keeping me out of the corners and chasing me around the board.

Learning principles with shygost is good, but there’s nothing like logging onto KGS and making mincemeat of the competition.
